Adventure in Choquequirao
**Duration: 12 Days/11 Nights

Day 01: Cusco.- Arrival and reception. At the indicated hour, the adventure begins to unfold the mystery of: Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay, Q´enqo and Puca-Pucara; as well as the main streets and historical places of the city. 

Explanation and videotape of the archaeological complex of Choquequirao, presented by a specialist.

Day 02: Cusco/Cachora.- Early in the morning, we´ll be transported to CHOQUEQUIRAO whose meaning is Golden Cradle, the name that has been given for being an important center during the time of the Inkas.

Day 03: Cachora/Cocamasana.- Very early in the morning departure toward Cocamasana, in the itinerary we will see real oasis in the Earth of the warriors CHANCAS (pre-Inka civilization). Amazing view of the snowy Salkantay Mountain. Location of our camp. We suggest the sunset and sunrise.

Day 04: Cocamasana/Santa Rosa.- During the walk, we will make a brief stop to appreciate the handmade production of CAÑAZO in SANTA ROSA´S REEDBED. Arrival and installation of the camp.

Day 05: Santa Rosa/Choquequirao.- A day spend  through the Apurímac river area, appreciating one of the deepest canyons in the Peru. On the journey we will have opportunity to make contact with many native communities that are located in the region. Camp.

Day 06: Choquequirao.- Very early, we will begin the journey over the archaeological area, visiting each one of the sectors of the archaeological complex such as the Agricultural sector, Cultivation Platforms, Hydraulic System, the Irrigation Channels. Camp in an area close to the complex.

Day 07: Choquequirao.- Visit to the urban sector of the complex appreciating the excellent city planning of the old manufacturers. Buildings of three floors with Civil and Military ends; techniques of the Inka architecture. Camp.

Day 08: Choquequirao.- Visit to the Religious sector, composed of old Inka temples, where different gods were adored, it be used for  meditation that's why the old Peruvians considered the place as an energetic and spiritual center. Camp.

Day 09: Choquequirao/Santa Rosa.- Very early in the morning, last journey for the area. At the proper time, return to Santa Rosa. Camp.

Day 10: Sacred Rosa/Cachora.- Departure from Santa Rosa toward Cachora. Camp.

Day 11: Cachora/Cusco.- We head out to the city of Cusco. On the way we visit to the Thermal Bathrooms of Qonoc.
