IQUITOS
**Duration:
07 Days/06 Nights
Day 1: Iquitos.-
City tour traveling the main attractiveness of the city as the main
Square, The House of Iron, the Pier TARAPACA, the main commercial streets and
the typical Belen Port. The visit concludes in the Zoo of QUISTOCOCHA.
Day
2: Iquitos/Lodge.- Transfer to the port of BELLAVISTA located in the north
part of the city to approach the gliders to navigate through the Amazon river
until the town of YANAMONO to 80 kilometers from IQUITOS.
Long walk on the primary forest to appreciate the fauna and flora
identifying the varied botanical species. At
dusk walk by canoe for the gulch MANCO, tributary of the river Amazons to
appreciate the fabulous sunset and to listen the magic and exotic sounds of the
nocturnal animals. Possibility to appreciate the lizards or other amphibians
closely.
Day
3: Lodge.- Observation of birds tour and impressive aquatic plants such as the Regal Victories in the gulch of CACERES.
Continuation for the bordering areas to the region of YANAMONO, where we
will be able to visit the TRAPICHE where the sugar cane juice is distilled and
fermented to obtain the alcoholic drink called AGUARDIENTE. In the afternoon
fishing tour in the bordering gulches or COCHAS (lagoons) and delight with this
sport.
Day
5: Accer/Canopy Walkway.- Observation of bird's trip in the surroundings of
the LODGE and the gulch. Long walk
on the Canopy Walkway or Hanging Bridge, the one that is suspended among and on
the top of the trees that measure on spans more than 500 meters long connected
by 12 platforms and reaching a height average of 40 meters approximately from
the floor.
Day 6: Cacerio/Iquitos.- At dawn, we will realize our last journey in the place visiting the near
villages to the LODGE and sharing with their inhabitants their life style.
Return
to IQUITOS city. We will have the opportunity to visit the native community of
the Boras in San Andres, sharing their ancestral customs where is still
practiced the exchange. Return to the city of IQUITOS.
