Day
1: Lima/Yangas/Checta/Quives/Lima .-
In the morning transfer
to the valley of Yangas. During the journey weŽll stop on the Km 25 of the
highway Lima-Canta to visit the Treasury Punchauca which was the place of the
peace negotiations between the General Don Jose de San Martin and La Serna.
On the
second part of the trip weŽll cross over the serpentin highway to get to the
Valley of Yangas, a small and picturesque town of agricultural character per
excellence.
Visit
to the archaeological area of Checta, composed of hundreds of engraved stone
blocks that presumably describe scenes of the center or worship Pantheist of
hundreds of pilgrims.
Later
on visit to the town of Santa Rosa de Quives, where old Eremite and the desires
well of the Saint from Lima are located.
