Day
1: Arequipa.- Reception. At the suitable hour, visit to the white city of
AREQUIPA and surroundings, beginning the journey for the Main Square where we
will find the PILETA (fountain)
that dates from 1,730 and its imposing arcade, the Cathedral, Jesus' Company and
its cloister, characteristic colonial large houses of the time. Continuation toward the domestic more important religious
monument, the Convent and Cloister of Santa Catalina.
Trip by
the district of YANAHUARA located just two kilometers from the city, knowing its
historical Baroque style church and the famous Observatory of YANAHUARA where
the volcano MISTI is appreciated in all its magnitude.
Day 2: Arequipa/Toro Muerto/Arequipa.- Full Day . Visit to the incredible archeological
complex composed of engraved volcanic stones blocks spread on the mountain of
the same name (Toro Muerto - Dead Bull) with very interesting figures of
mammals, birds, frogs, fish, etc; and many others like dancers, mystical
characters, plants, trees, flowers; etc.
Free
morning for shopping or rest. At appointed time
transfer to the suitable place.
