Adventure in the Andes and Amazon Rainforest
RAFTING
** Duration: 13  Days/12 Nights

Day 1: Lima. - Reception and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Lima/San Pedro De Casta/Marcahuasi. - Transfer from the city of Lima toward the Andean Community of San Pedro de Casta (04 hours approx.).  At the suitable hour, beginning of the climb to the plateau of Marcahuasi via trekking.

Location of the camp in the area of the short road. First walk toward the Monument of the Humanity, the turtle, the African lions, where we will see  the breathtaking Andean sunset.

Day 3: Marcahuasi. - Early in the morning, beginning of the walk through the humanity's circuit, appreciating many sculptures including the elephants, the prophet, the alchemist, the Lagoon of Huacracocha, etc.

In the afternoon we continue the walk toward the circuits of the treasure and of the strength, where the Indian, the astronauts, the condors, the black and white queen, the pilot, the strength, etc.; are located, and mainly the goddess Thueris.

Day 4: Marcahuasi/San Pedro De Casta/Lima. - Last walk toward the pre-inkas archaeological remains called chullpas (graves).

At appointed time, return walk to the community of San Pedro de Casta. Visit to the local Museum of the town where we will appreciate the mummies found in the place. Return to the city of Lima.

Day 5: Lima/Tarapoto/Shapaja. - Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Tarapoto city. It is very well known as one of the commercial cities of Peruvian jungle and the city of the most beautiful waterfalls in Peru, being one of the most impressive is the Aguashiyacu waterfall of 35 meters, located 14 kilometers to the northwest of Tarapoto city. Transfer to Shapaja.

Day 6: Shapaja/Chazuta/Achinamiza/Winbayoc.- Beginning of the trip by raft at 7:00 a.m. Stop in the community of Chazuta. Walk to the waterfalls of Tunun Tunumba (4 hours approximately). Afterwards we will continue the trip by raft. Visit to the Waterfalls of Chullachaqui (Devil´s Mountain). Panoramic view of the Pongo of Aguirre. Visit to the thermal waters of Achinamiza.  We will continue the trip by raft down the river. This is the flat area of the jungle, where we can have the opportunity to appreciate the great variety of wildlife, like monkeys, birds, etc. 

Day 7:Winbayoc/El Porvenir/Yurimaguas. - Arrival to Yurimaguas, capital city of the province of high amazonas, it was populated by the Yuris and the Omaguas, in which the name Yurimaguas is created; in addition to them was also based ethnic groups like the Chayahuitas, descendants of the Cahuapanas and the Tupis-Guarani who entered by the slope of the Ucayali River.

Day 8: Yurimaguas/Lagunas. - On the borders of the Huallaga River is an additional port to enter the national reserve of Pacaya and Samiria.  Arrival to the community of Lagunas, located on the shores of Huallaga River.

Day 9:Lagunas/Huallaga River / Marañon River. - We´ll visit the areas of Huallaga and Marañon River, visiting the riverside communities sharing with the inhabitants, practicing different sports, walking through the virgin jungle.

Day 10: San Pablo/Tipishca Lake. - Visit to the island where we´ll have the opportunity to share with the natives of the area and we can practice sports like to fish.

Days 11: Marañon River/Nauta.- Continuation of the trip on the Marañon River going through the opening of the Tiger River that is tributary of the Marañon River, visiting the different lakes and lagoons inhabited by villagers which live by fishing and hunting.  This day we will arrive to the city of Nauta, which is considered one of the most important for its  historical importance.

Day 12: Nauta/Amazon River. - Arrival to the covering of the rivers Marañon and Ucayali that form the most mighty river of the world - the majestic Amazon, that gives life to abundant range of fish, terrestrial animals and birds.

Visit to the Boras tribe were we will share their ancestral customs.

Arrival to Iquitos city. Transfer to the hotel in Iquitos city.

Day 13: Iquitos/Lima. - Free morning for personal activities. At agreed time, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Lima city. Arrival.

Airport reception. Transfer to the hotel in Lima city.
