Day
1: Lima.- Reception and transfer to the hotel.
Day
2: Lima/Huaraz.- Transfer to Huaraz city (08 hours approx.). Reception.
Transfer to the hotel. Rest.
Day
3 : Huaraz/Callejon de Huaylas/Huaraz.- In the morning, visit the beautiful
Alley of Huaylas bordered by the perpetually snowy White Mountain range. You
will have the opportunity of visiting the typical towns of Carhuaz, Caraz and
Yungay. Visit to the Lagoon of
Llanganuco. On returning to the city of Huaraz, we will stop in Taricá village,
famous for its handmade souvenirs.
Day 4: Huaraz/Chavin de Huantar/Huaraz.- Visit to the millennial archeological complex of Chavin
de Huantar, considered as the culture mother of the Peruvian civilizations.
Located 102 kilometers from the city of Huaraz, in the Alley of Conchucos. You
will have the opportunity of appreciating the beautiful lagoon of Querococha and
the tunnel of Cahuish located almost 5,000 m.o.s.l.
This
area is formed by temples, squares, irrigation channels, and underground
labyrinths, built in their entirety in stone. Appreciation of the Heads Nails
sculpted in stone in anthropomorphous shapes and the Lanzón of Chavin.
Day
5: Huaraz/Trujillo .- At the opportune hour, transfer to Trujillo city.
Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel.
Day 6: Trujillo/Chiclayo
.- City tour and visit to the important Cassinelli Museum. Afterwards we
will continue our Excursion to the archaeological complex of Chan Chan where we
can find the Ceremonial Center of Huaca
the Dragoon.
At
appointed time, transfer to Chiclayo city. Arrival, reception and transfer to
the hotel.
Day
7: Chiclayo .- Transfer to the city of Lambayeque (12 km) to visit the
Archaeological Museum the Royal Tombs of Sipán. Visit the archaeological
complex of Túcume to appreciate the set of 26 mud pyramids, among them the one
called Huaca Larga. Afterwards, we´ll continue to
Huaca Rajada (SIPAN) place of discovery of the great Lord
of Sipán.
Day
8: Chiclayo/Lima. - Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Lima
city. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel.
Day 9: Lima/Puerto Maldonado. - Flight to Puerto
Maldonado. Brief City tour through the most
important attractions of the city. Transfer in the typical boats called Peque
Peque through the Madre de Dios River to the lodge . In the afternoon long walk
to the virgin rain forest near the lodge, to observe the great diversity of
flora and fauna.
Day
10: Puerto Maldonado. - Long walk through the rain forest to get the
Sandoval Lake where we can view Fitzcarrald
ship. In the evening visit a small farm of the area.
Day 11: Puerto Maldonado/Cusco.- Flight towards the Imperial city of
Cusco.
In the
afternoon visit main turistic attractions of
downtown and the bordering archaeological complexes: Sacksayhuaman, Tambomachay,
Puca Pucara and Q´enqo.
Day
12: Cusco/Machu Picchu/Cusco.- We´ll board
the train taking us to Machu Picchu. We´ll walk through the temples,
plazas, terraces
and the urban zone of Machu Picchu. In the evening, return to the city of
Cusco.
Day 13:
Cusco/Urubamba/Cusco.- Full Day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Inkas
"URUBAMBA": Visit the typical town Pisac village, famous for its
artisan´s fair and its archaeological complex. Later, we´ll continue toward
the incredible Ollantaytambo Fortress.
Day
14: Cusco. - Visit Tipón, the most impressive hydraulic Inka´s wonder. We´ll
continue towards Pickillacta, that has been constructed as a defensive building
and agricultural product storage.
The excursion concludes in Andahuaylillas, where we´ll find the famous Sistine
Chapel of America.
Day
15: Cusco/Puno. - Transfer to the city of Pun. On the way we will appreciate
diverse and colourful Andean villages, as well as
crossing La Raya, the highest rail point of the Andes of the Southern
area of the country.
Day
16: Puno/Uros/Taquile/Puno. - Full Day in the Titikaka lake visiting the
ancestral Islands of the Uros and the Taquile Island, which offers to the
visitors an extraordinary panoramic view of
the majestic Andes.
Day
17: Puno/Arequipa.- Transfer to Arequipa city. Arrival, reception. Transfer
to the hotel.
Day
18: Arequipa.- At the indicated time, visit to the main square of Arequipa,
the Cathedral, Colonial Large houses, the Convent and Cloister of Santa
Catalina.
Day
19: Arequipa/Nasca.- At appointed time, transfer to Nasca city. Arrival,
reception. Transfer to the hotel.
Day
20: Nasca/Ica.- In the morning, fly
over the enigmatic Nasca Lines. Afterwards we´ll continue to the archaeological
areas of Cantalloc. Transfer to Ica city.
Día 21: Ica/Lima.- City Tour where we´ll view the
most important attractions of Ica city, such as: The Main Plaza, the Cathedral,
the district of Luren, the mythical lagoon of
Huacachina, finishing in the Regional Museum of Ica.
At
appointed time, return to Lima city.
Day
22: Lima. - City tour of LIMA, visiting the main attractions of Colonial and
the Modern Lima areas.
